That's not Funny, That's Just Stupid

According to Tim Blair, a link may exist between a widespread mood disorder and the approval rating of Kim Beazard or Howzley or whatever his name is:

Australians genetically prone to depression: 43%.

Kim Beazley’s current approval rating: 42%.

For the record, I'm one of the missing one percent. But I do agree with the 70% of poll respondents who believe the Government knew about the AWB kickbacks - along with all the other members of that 43% of the population who are genetically prone to depression. As only 27% of normal Australian voters think that the Government are lying their arses off over the AWB scandal, the polls show that John Howard still retains a handy 3% lead on this issue.
