Doctor's Orders

My personal brain-care specialist wants me off the smokes in the next couple of weeks. I'm also supposed to flog a piece of writing and make some actual ready money out of my literary talents.

Bugger of a thing to have laid on you two days after you've written a couple of posts with obvious commercial potential and thrown them into the public domain for free. Maybe I'll come across something promising next Argus day. Or I could go back a couple of days to read up on Hiram Maxim's lightweight steam engine for aerial navigation by aeroplane.

To help you resist the urge to buy tobacco, dwell on the proportion of the purchase price which is TAX to our Government.
Then dwell on what they use it for.
Instant aversion.
Good Luck.

That could be a verb. Done any quigging lately?

Nah, too snarky at the gonfalons.

quig (v.t.): 1. to sell on a blog post to the mainstream media; 2. to post an article that has already appeared in the MSM on your blog for further comment. Hence quigging (n); quigger (n): one who quigs.
